PAUL BOSTAPH , Testament'da!

Eski SLAYER/SYSTEMATIC davulcusu Paul Bostaph resmen Testament'a katıldı.
Şu andaki davulcu Jon Allen " acil ailevi bir neden " (??)yüzünden gruptan ayrılmak zorundakaldı. Grup ta Jon'un da ik önerisi olan Paul2a teklif etti gruba katılmasını.
The gatheringden sonraki ilk albümlerini çıkarmak için çalışmaları sürdüren grup Nisan/Mayıs gibi stüdyoya girecek kayıtlar için.

Paul daha önce 1992'de grupla beraber bir turnede davul çalmıştı ve 93 EP'si Return To The Apocalyptic City'de çalmıştı.

SLAYER's a great band, and I had a lot of fun playing with them, but I have to feel like I'm taking chances musically.

"The first time I left SLAYER, I did [a project called] THE TRUTH ABOUT SEAFOOD. Sure, it never got signed, but I enjoyed it a lot.

"SLAYER took my drumming to a new level, but there are also other levels of drumming that I haven't even touched yet. I want to become a more eclectic drummer."

Testament is pleased to announce the addition of Paul Bostaph (ex-SLAYER, ex-FORBIDDEN, ex-SYSTEMATIC) to the line-up. As most of you know, Paul is not a stranger to band. He filled in for the departed Louie Clemente in 1993 to help out with touring duties. We apologize for the long period of time without an update. Unfortunately, 'BLABBERMOUTH' beat us to the punch as we were planning to make an official statement this week. The guys have been rehearsing for a few weeks now in preparation for the upcoming shows scheduled in March. They are also hard at work writing for the new record. We'll have more updates for you, so keep checking back. In the meantime, help us give Paul a very warm welcome to the band!

Eric Peterson: 'The first time we jammed with Paul Bostaph was when we parted ways with Louie Clemente. We had to find a drummer the day before the first show in the States. Although Paul had just joined SLAYER, he was able to do a month-long tour with us, and pulled it off with finesse. The tour with Paul resulted in a live EP called 'Return To The Apocalyptic City'. I look forward to working with Paul on the new record as his style fits perfectly with old-school melodic thrash."
